| Heithaus Engineering & Associates, Inc. (HEI) was founded in 1979 by Ken Heithaus to offer cost-effective consulting solutions to public and private-sector clients throughout Southwest Missouri and surrounding communities. Ken Heithaus moved to Springfield in 1976 and began serving the community as the Assistant Engineer for the City of Springfield Public Works Department. Recruited for his hands-on experience in construction and project management, he assisted in the development of City projects for over 3 years. In 1979, he incorporated this experience into the development of a comprehensive engineering, surveying, planning and design based civil engineering and land surveying business With nearly three and a half decades of civil engineering and land surveying experience, HEI has a proven track record of stability and over 4,000 succesful projects from which to draw upon for design and technical expertise for comprehensive engineering, surveying, planning and design services.
